The Urban Onsen is the culmination of design principles. The Nesting of adjacent spaces provides a dynamic flow for the users. These spatial experiences are then reinforced with the elevation of a giant semi permeable canopy to give a certain division and sense of privacy from the outside world. This method of layering gives the sense of being in a zen forest which was the intended ambience for the bath house. The circulation qualities of The Urban Onsen are mainly ramps and slope to complement the smooth transition of experience within the design and the boundaries of inside and out.
